I’ve read some of it! It’s too grimdark for me, but if it’s as good as you say, I’m glad. I only omitted it from this article because it doesn’t compare in success or popularity to the series I included.

In return, I’d highly, highly recommend Patricia McKillip’s Riddle-master series, Katherine Kerr’s Daggerspell series and Elizabeth Moon’s The Deed of Paksennarion. Excellent stories by excellent women authors who were sadly not recognized when the books first came out.
