Thank you Annie, and this is a GREAT point. You and others have brought up how in this article, I ignored fantasy authors who are doing it right—and, of course, most of them are women. I was trying to focus on the biggest series of all time, but in doing so I accidentally participated in the exact same erasure I’m speaking out against.
